ACCESSIBILITY
Math for everyone means a site for everyone.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced by laws such as the European Accessibility Act, the ADA and Section 508 in the US, and the UK Equality Act.

What we do
- Every input has a visible label, and results are announced to screen readers as they change.
- The whole site works with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines.
- Text and controls are designed for sufficient colour contrast and reflow on small screens and at 200% zoom.
- Animation is reduced automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Explanations are written in plain language and avoid unexplained jargon.
Known limitations
Some long calculator explanations are dense with numbers, which can be heavy to listen to with a screen reader. We are working to break them into shorter steps.
Tips
Use your browser’s zoom (Ctrl or ⌘ and +) to enlarge everything, and Tab / Shift + Tab to move between boxes. More answers are in the Help centre.
