TERMS OF USE

Fair, simple terms.

By using laymath.app you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them short and readable.

Last updated 11 October 2026

1. The service

Lay Math provides free, browser-based calculators and plain-English explanations for learning and estimating. No account is needed. We may add, change, or remove calculators at any time.

2. Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully. Don’t try to disrupt it, overload it, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or copy it wholesale to present as your own service.

3. Educational estimates only

Results depend entirely on the figures you enter and the simplified formulas shown. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, engineering, or safety advice. Read the Disclaimer before relying on any result.

4. Content and trademarks

The Lay Math name, logo, design, and written explanations belong to Lay Math. You may share links, screenshots, and results for personal, educational, or non-commercial use with credit to laymath.app. Mathematical formulas themselves belong to everyone.

5. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep the math correct and the site running, but we don’t guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Lay Math is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be excluded where you live.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. Lay Math is a global service and these terms are not tied to any one country’s law. Nothing here removes the mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
