Your numbers stay yours.
The short version: Lay Math doesn’t ask who you are, doesn’t store what you type, and doesn’t sell anything about you.

1. At a glance
- No accounts, no sign-up forms, no newsletters.
- Every calculation runs on your own device. Figures are never sent to us or saved.
- No advertising, no tracking cookies, no sale or sharing of personal data.
2. Information we collect
What you type: nothing. Inputs exist only in your browser’s memory and disappear when you close or refresh the page.
Technical logs: like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes basic request information — such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested — to deliver the site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you or build a profile.
4. Legal basis
Where privacy laws such as the EU and UK GDPR apply, the limited technical processing above is based on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website. We do not rely on consent because we do not collect optional personal data.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, California’s CCPA/CPRA, Brazil’s LGPD, Canada’s PIPEDA, or South Africa’s POPIA — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data. Because Lay Math does not keep personal data tied to you, there is usually nothing for us to retrieve or delete. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
7. Children
Lay Math is a general-audience educational site. It does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
8. Changes
If how we handle information changes — for example if we add a feature that needs data — we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect. Questions are answered in the Help centre.
